F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is a registered nonprofit (501c3) organization that is run by volunteers, we have no paid employees. All donations over $250 or more will receive a letter of acknowledgement for tax purposes. For donations under $250 your cancelled check or credit card statement will serve as your receipt.
How your donations are spent:

- Parent Packets - provided to new and expectant parents, families, and hospitals
- Books – A Parent’s Guide to Down Syndrome.
- Programs – Baby Friends, After School Specials, Friends Social Club, & Miss Bonnie’s Arts & Crafts.
- Scholarships funds for F.R.I.E.N.D.S. members.
- Website maintenance for our monthly newsletter and events emails.
- Buddy Walk Event – Venue, staging, t-shirts, insurance.
- T-shirts for events.
- Printing – Parent Packets, Media, Pamphlets, Brochures, Parent Packets, Flyers, etc…
- Office Supplies – paper, folders, envelopes, printer, ink, and computer.
- Parades - Fourth of July & Christmas parades and floats.
- Picnics – April Easter Egg Hunt, July Pool Party, and October Buddy Walk Kick Off Party.
- Family Party’s - Halloween Party & Holiday Party
- Insurance – Program, Events, and Buddy Walk Insurance.
- Yearly State and Nonprofit fees.
